Our Story

SteelCraft is a Long Beach-based outdoor urban eatery built with repurposed shipping containers. SteelCraft goes beyond placing a few shipping containers on a plot of land. We strive to become part of the DNA of the community. Through outreach, live music, and community events, engaging our neighbors is how we come together to celebrate the culinary experience.

SteelCraft first opened in February 2017 and became a staple within the Bixby Knolls neighborhood of Long Beach. Now, with locations in Bellflower and Garden Grove, SteelCraft is the place for craft coffee, beer, wine, craft food and dessert—morning, noon and night.

We take the guesswork out of finding a place to dine, drink, meet, #shopsmall, and play. Here, we’ve curated only the best craft food and drink vendors based on the unique communities we call home.

DO YOU HAVE WI-FI?

Yes!

DO YOU ALLOW ADDITIONAL VENDORS TO PROVIDE SERVICES ON SITE?

SteelCraft hosts events where additional vendors may provide products or services to our community. Check out our events calendar and get in touch with us below if you see an event relevant to your business. We look forward to hearing what you can offer!

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?

Yes! SteelCraft is open to all ages. You can even bring your furry friend, too! Get the kiddos a cold treat from The Fresh Shave while you enjoy a pint from Smog City Brewery. Must be 21 or older to consume alcohol on premises.

DO YOU ALLOW DOGS?

Yes! Well-behaved furry friends on a leash are welcome with their well-behaved owners.

DO YOU DO SEMI-PRIVATE OR PRIVATE EVENTS?

We do! Please contact us below with a little information about your event and our friendly event coordinators will be in touch.

DO YOU HOST FIELD TRIPS OR TOURS?

Of course there are some behind-the-scenes trade secrets that must remain secret but we love nothing more than sharing the story of SteelCraft, especially to future community builders and visionaries. We recommend avoiding our peak hours and keeping groups under a dozen people because we cannot reserve space for groups. WHERE DO I FIND THE STEELCRAFT MENU?

SteelCraft leases its space to incredible vendors who each have their own unique menu. Each vendor’s page has a link to their Yelp pages with menus.

DOES STEELCRAFT CATER EVENTS OFF-SITE?

It is up to each unique vendor to determine if they would like to cater your event. Please see each vendor’s page for contact information or ask to speak face-to-face next time you stop by!

HOW DO I CONTACT ONE OF THE STEELCRAFT VENDORS?

As tenants of the SteelCraft property, the preferred contact method is up to each individual vendor. Please see each vendor’s website for its contact information.

I WANT TO WORK FOR STEELCRAFT. WHERE DO I APPLY?

Each SteelCraft vendor has their own hiring process. To apply to work for one of our vendors, please reach out to directly for openings or check out their websites and social media pages. SteelCraft positions will be posted on social media and our blog and may include the following roles: day porters, store manager(s), event staff, etc.

DO YOU SELL GIFTCARDS?

Each SteelCraft vendor may offer gift cards for their respective businesses but unfortunately at this time, SteelCraft does not offer giftcards.
