Chess Tournament
- Schedule: Onsite Registration and check ins at 11:30 – 11:50 am; Round 1 starts at 12 pm with the tournament ending between 4-5 pm.
- Sections for rated and non-rated games
- It would be good to have some familiarity with how to play over-the-board with a chess clock and to understand what touch move and touch capture rules are.
- Time Control: 30 minutes with 5 seconds delay
- Entry fee: $32 ($45 for same day/on-site registration) Promotional rates for ChessPalace club members, speak with staff for more info.)
- Awards:
- Medals for first place winners of the non-rated games section
- Trophies to Top 3 finishers in the rated section(s)
